Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1: What services do you provide?

We offer a range of veterinary services, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, diagnostic tests, and treatments.

Question 2: How far in advance should I schedule my appointment?

Most visits, if not urgent, are booked one week in advance. In some cases, like appointments for travel certificates, we recommend scheduling 30-60 days in advance due to travel requirements.

In rare instances, same day visits are available. There is no guarantee that we can accommodate same day appointments but we will do our best to find a solution that works for you.

Question 3: What can I expect to spend on a home visit compared to a clinic visit?

The cost of a home visit can vary depending on the specific needs of your pet. We have worked hard to fairly price our services to reflect the convenience of a home visit and in general, you can expect to pay 15-20% more for a home visit compared to the clinic.

That being said, we pride ourselves on good communication and are always happy to provide you with an accurate estimate prior to your visit.

Question 4: Will I be allowed to hold my pet during the visit?

Yes we encourage pet owners to actively participate in the home visit, holding and comforting their pets throughout the examination process. In fact, most visits are handled in this fashion.

While most pets do well with their owners assisting, we recommend having a veterinary assistant present during the visit if your pet is aggressive or difficult to handle. Please inform us beforehand if you anticipate needing an assistant and we will ensure that necessary arrangements are made.

Question 5: How do I know when a home euthanasia is right for my pet?

Deciding on the right time is deeply personal and often involves considering your pet’s quality of life. If your pet is experiencing significant pain, discomfort, or a decline in overall well-being, it might be an appropriate time to discuss home euthanasia. Call our specialized staff and we can assist you in making the best choice for you and your pet.

Question 6: How do I request a veterinary assistant for my home visit?

When scheduling your home visit, please inform our staff that you would like an assistant present. We will arrange for a skilled veterinary assistant to accompany the veterinarian.

We are open Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
